Cabinet says government to move ahead as per constitution provision

Jul 15, 2016- The meeting of the Council of Ministers on Friday reviewed the latest political development and decided to tackle the no confidence motion registered in the parliament against the incumbent government.
The meeting held at the Prime Minister's official residence, Baluwatar decided to go ahead as per the constitutional provision, said spokesperson of the government and Minister for Information and Communications, Sherdhan Rai.
Similarly, the meeting has decided to table the draft of the Act related to Nepal Medical Science Education Service. After the endorsement of the draft act, maximum demands of protesting Dr Govinda KC are expected to be resolved.
Similarly, the meeting has decided to provide capital grant of Rs 200 million to the Patan Academy of Health Sciences to purchase medical equipments.
Four citizenship certificates canceled
The meeting has canceled the citizenship certificates of four Indians as they had acquired Nepali citizenship certificates submitting fake documents. Indian nationals, Matauwa Kurmi, Nanda Kishor Kurmi, Ramananda Kurmi and Ram Chandra Kurmi had received the citizenships from Banke district.
Canceling the citizenship certificates, the meeting has even decided to order an investigation in this connection.
The meeting has decided to provide Rs 10 million to the Google Boy Foundation (foundation established in the name of Aditya Dahal) to purchase official building, vehicles and meditation centre as well.
Appointment to investment board
The meeting has appointed Bhawani Rana and Rajesh Kaji Shrestha as the members of the National Investment Board. Rana is the senior vice chair of Federation of Nepalese Chambers of Commerce and Industries (FNCCI) and Shrestha is the chair of the Nepal Chamber of Commerce. Similarly, Man Bahadur Aryal has been appointed as the member of the Loan Recovery Tribunal.
Two promoted to secretary
The meeting has promoted joint secretaries Maniram Ojha and Purushottam Poudel to the secretary. Ojha has been deputed to the office of the Truth and Reconciliation Commission (TRC) while Poudel to the Regional Administration office Surkhet. RSS
