Jul 30, 2016- The second edition of Management Education Expo 2016 kicked off in the Capital on Friday.
Chief Secretary Somlal Subedi inaugurated the two-day event, organised by Pathshala Education Foundation, in which colleges affiliated with Tribhuvan University, Kathmandu University, Purbanchal University and Pokhara University are participating.
The expo, being organised at Hotel Annapurna, Durbarmarg, focuses on bachelor’s and master’s programmers and aims to stem the trend of Nepali students going abroad for business studies, according to Sanjay Mandal, chairman of the Pathshala Education Foundation.
According to the organisers, more than 40 colleges from different national universities are participating in the event.
“They are participating in the expo with the message that Nepali colleges are capable of providing better education focusing on BBA, MBA and other management faculties,” the organisers said, adding that they are expecting around 10,000 visitors.
